I often find myself trying to make time for my friends, while also trying to squeeze in a quick workout (but will always end up choosing my friends over the latter). Luckily, I have finally found a way to balance both working out <em>and<\/em> being social through yoga! Yoga is truly a perfect way to practice mindfulness while also embracing the more communal aspect of exercise. And what\u2019s even better, you can do yoga on your own time! If you can\u2019t make it to a\u00a0class, you can always pull up a YouTube video to find your zen in the comfort of your own home. If you really want that social aspect of yoga, but don&#8217;t have the time to go to a class, you can still practice yoga at home with others! Try <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dinnertime.com\/content\/2017\/06\/21\/meet-your-new-fitness-friend-introducing-burnalong\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BurnAlong<\/a>\u00a0to schedule a virtual yoga class with your best friend without having to leave your home. Stretching your muscles and focusing on your breath is a great way to unwind and relax. Once you\u2019ve found your center, why not make a nutritious snack to keep your body feeling strong and powerful?<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s important to be mindful of your body, it\u2019s imperative to be mindful of the food that you put <i>into<\/i> your body. The protein and natural fat in the hummus won&#8217;t lead to a spike in your blood sugar, resulting in lethargy.\u00a0\u00a0Set more goals for yourself to eat other heart-healthy foods that make you feel energized and refreshed!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> A calming yoga session followed by a healthy snack is the answer to wave away stress. Even though yoga may seem intimidating at first, don&#8217;t be shy.
