Sure and begorrah, Saint Paddy’s day is upon us again. What began as a religious feast day to commemorate the death of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, has become a globally recognized celebration of all things Irish.

Get into the spirit! Try classic Irish recipes, attend parades, festivals, and even dance a little jig.

Catch a parade. New York, Boston, Chicago and Savannah all host famous parades but most cities have pretty fun parades the whole family can enjoy.
Attend a Celtic festival. These occur all year in various locations and are a fun way to sample classic Irish cooking, crafts and dancing.

Some of us may want to “sample” a green beer or as the Irish might say, “Have a gargle.”
